Mark’s 35+ year long career in leading transformation, business re-engineering, and continuous improvement is an asset to Piritahi, as is his understanding of the science behind it.
The CI&I function that Mark heads manages the continuous improvement and innovation pipeline, identifying and prioritising these areas so that Piritahi can continue to adapt new ideas and deliver great service for our client, Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities.

Originally from the north-west of England, Mark has been in New Zealand since 1996 and has held senior roles in many large local and global organisations, most recently at Auckland Council where he led business improvement initiatives for six years.
Mark is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, gained from 3M Company, which indicates a high-level understanding and achievement within the world of complex improvement projects.
