Mangere West Development

Located in the Mangere Development, the development of Mangere West will contribute to the 10,000 new terraced and apartment homes that are being delivered to the Mangere community. These new homes are a mix of state, market and more affordable homes that are warmer, drier and healthier to live in.

Piritahi’s job is to prepare the land in Mangere to build and live on, enabling more homes to be built faster. We’re also designing and constructing new and upgraded infrastructure, parks and public spaces to create a safer, greener and more connected Mangere.

Projects Underway

Concrete, footpath and landscape works are now complete throughout the entire neighbourhood.
Road works are complete on Watchfield Close.
Hall Avenue drainage is complete.
House removals and land works to prepare land for new homes to be underway in Harvard Place, commencing in July 2022.
We have a one-street project in Mangere West at Harvard Place. This work is on one side of the street and is near completion. Old houses have been removed; land civil works are also complete.
Stormwater and wastewater systems are being installed. This stormwater system is expected to be completed at the end of October.
